Beloved by photographers (Mario Testino, Annie Leibovitz) and celebrities (Emilia Clarke, Kristen Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence) alike, Jillian Dempsey began her career as a makeup artist in the early ’90s and landed a Brooke Shields spread in
Vanity Fair in 1993. Before long, she was working with Hollywood’s A-list, from Drew Barrymore to Johnny Depp to Duran Duran, on everything from print to film to the red carpet. Dempsey — who lives in Malibu with her husband, actor Patrick Dempsey — launched her own line of beauty products in 2015, starting with eyeliner, then slowly rolling out eyeshadows, cheek tints, and her coveted 24-karat vibrating Gold Bar that helps tone and tighten the skin. While products are targeted, and the collection is kept intentionally limited and focused (less is more), all of her products contain naturally derived ingredients that are hand-selected and organic.
