Jacques Marie Mage

The 1920s influence throughout the limited-edition eyewear of Jacques Marie Mage (JMM) is a direct result of its Los Angeles studio and showroom, which is surrounded by giant palms and nationally registered historic buildings like The Park Plaza Hotel, Bullocks Wilshire and the Ambassador Hotel. From that La Fayette Park base, the brand — founded by French transplant Jerome Jacques Marie Mage — creates collector-driven eyewear that combines historical references with precious materials, modern production practices and ethical codes of business. Frames in a variety of shapes juxtapose hardware made with 18-karat gold, sterling silver, titanium or gunmetal with glass lenses ranging in colors from mineral brown to turquoise. While designed in L.A. and inherently SoCal cool, manufacturing is done to the highest-quality standards in Japan.
