As much about the fragrances as the vessels they're displayed in, House of Kinga candles combine surf-inspired scents with handmade ceramic treasures. Founder Alison G. Roth, a former interior designer, launched the brand as a solution to finding a natural scent that enveloped a home without overpowering it. Inspired by her seaside Malibu base, she created a balsam-vanilla blend that combines woodsy notes with milky undertones. For her Signature line, artisans in Italy craft each vessel by hand using raw clay. Sculptural and ornamental, the cylindrical container is meant to live on long after its wick has died. For the Vintage line, Roth scours the world for stately pieces, each with its own unique history and aesthetic. Every candle is hand-poured in Southern California and made from soy wax with essential oils and pure cotton wicks.
