House of Harlow 1960
Los Angeles-bred Nicole Richie has been immersed in glamour, costumes and style her entire life (she is, after all, the daughter of legendary musician Lionel Richie). As a fashion-obsessed 11-year-old, she began designing her own competitive figure skating looks with the help of her father’s stage costume designer. It wasnatural then, that Nicole took her style from the ice to the red carpet and eventually into the mainstream fashion world, launching her own line, House of Harlow 1960, in 2008. What began with jewelry eventually led to ready-to-wear and footwear just a few years later, ultimately becoming an all-encompassing lifestyle brand offering eyewear, home fragrance and accessories. Each item has a slight rock ‘n’ roll edge, whether it’s a crystal and diamond pendant necklace, nude crocodile-embossed ankle boots or a chevron-print faux fur jacket.
