Architectural and geometric, Eddie Borgo’s signature pieces are often marked by spiky cones, thick cuffs with a safety chain, or chain links — dainty, they are not. He draws inspiration from modern sculpture, questioning notions of typical jewelry designs and construction with his collection of bracelets, rings, earrings, necklaces, brooches and anklets. Borgo has also forayed into handbags and men’s jewelry, and since launching his own collection in 2008 he’s been championed by the CFDA; collaborated on runway pieces for Burberry, Proenza Schouler and Altuzarra; and created a collection with Tiffany & Co. called the Tiffany x Eddie Borgo Legacy Collection.
