Carson Meyer (sister of jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer and ROE Caviar founder Sarah Meyer Michaelson) originally made her body scrubs out of organic ingredients in her kitchen. The Malibu-born-and-raised actor and doula grew up with an environmentalist mother, who taught her at an early age that the skin can absorb many harmful toxins. For that reason, she uses only the finest raw ingredients in her products, which contain brown sugar; AHAs; coconut oil for hydration; sweet almond oil to help prevent skin damage; jojoba seed oil to heal the skin and retain moisture; natural scents, like vanilla; and castor oil to act as a preservative while also stimulating the growth of healthy tissues.
