ounded in 2018 by celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson, who divides her time between South Africa, West Hollywood and New York, the brand was originally created to supply Coachella footwear for Patrickson’s
clients (Ruby Rose, Portia de Rossi, Emma Watson and Julianne Hough, to name a few).
Three years in the making, Amanu
comprises about a dozen styles in more than 20 different color and material options, all of which are created using minimal waste and packaging. In addition to considering the environment, the plastic-free brand also prizes the longevity of its shoes and enlist
s craftspeople trained by world-renowned sandal makers from Capri.
